Greg Coman Photography, a sole proprietor photography studio, is seeking to redesign its company website to enhance user experience, improve content management, and optimize for search engines (SEO). The current website is outdated and lacks the necessary features to effectively showcase the studio's portfolio and services. The goal of this project is to create a modern, visually appealing, and user-friendly website that will attract more clients and improve online visibility. The project will involve redesigning the website's layout, integrating a content management system (CMS), and implementing SEO best practices to ensure higher search engine rankings. Digital Marketing Strategy The primary focus for the student(s) will be one or more of the following : Branding - Conduct a full competitive landscape assessment; define our organization's brand and core value proposition; identify opportunities and threats facing our brand; assess where and how to improve our brand's presence and differentiate from our competitors. Conduct a SWOT analysis. Identify our Unique Selling Proposition. Market Research - Investigate our competitive landscape; perform market segmentation to identify the ideal target market for (new or existing product or service); conduct customer surveys to gain insights into the perceptions and behaviours of our target customers; develop a pricing strategy; identify expansion opportunities; identify key messaging for (new product or service). Strategic Social Media Marketing - Conduct an audit of our current social media presence and/or other current communication channel(s); develop and implement strategies for improving our online presence and increasing engagement; create a content calendar; create new social media posts

B2C Product Launch to new market
What happens when you mix Social isolation and Creativity during a COVID Pandemic? Art by Gekko was born. Gekko is a pseudonym. Like, the Gecko (the lizard), we are also highly adaptive to our environment. As a photographer, I had to put the portrait side of the business on hold during the COVID lockdown and pivoted (i prefer "swivelled" ) to create original art designs. My partner and I created an online store offering Creative Apparel, T-Shirts and accessories. As a B2C company, we have a primary focus on creating relevant products for our consumer. We have created several new creative product lines. When we created our original product offering, we had a consumer in mind and marketed it accordingly. We believe our market might be changing quickly with the social and economic landscape, and we need help keeping on top of the market trends. This knowledge will aid in a new approach to marketing, especially for new products moving forward. Our specific need is to determine what our target market's perception is This information will help us determine what key messaging will resonate with our target buyer. We would like to understand our customer base through Consumer analytics (surveys, sales trends) with our future consumer to gather insights into buying behaviours, expectations, and experiences with us and our competitors. This data should lead to a final report that helps outline the direction we should take with our Creative Apparel in the current landscape. Successful outcomes include a market research report, informed by primary data collection. We want to meet adversity head-on, with some humour, and appeal to a millennial market that is current with the current trends.

Our Photography company would like to offer a virtual internship opportunity to a marketing student or team. The primary focus for the student(s) will be: Marketing Investigate our competitive landscape; identify the ideal target market for our existing services ( Business Portraits, Product Photography) help market for a new client base ( Fashion Photography and/or Dance Photography) Complete a full customer, competitor, market, and environmental analysis Recommend changes to marketing materials and create an integrated marketing campaign Develop and implement an advertising strategy; create collateral, including newsletters, user testimonials, case studies, and customer stories. Social Media - Conduct an audit of our current social media presence; develop and implement strategies for improving our online presence and increasing engagement; create a content calendar; create useable social media and blog posts. Finances Analyze our pricing strategy Design new/improved accounting processes; identify opportunities to streamline costs. Revenue growth strategy Our goal at the end of this experience is: For the student(s) to help us gain a better understanding of our target market and ensure we are optimally positioned and our product and pricing align with our target sector/customer. For the student(s) to help us effectively communicate our services to our audience. For the student(s) to help us improve our online presence, reach more customers, and effectively promote our services through compelling content. For the student(s) to help us analyze our pricing strategy, and implement new/improved accounting processes Other duties the student may complete could include : Assist with marketing campaigns; measure and report on the performance of these campaigns Content development, including social posts, blog posts, LinkedIn articles, and website copy.
